I hope to use this space to provide lots of interesting, thought provoking and useful information that women can relate to. Please feel free to share my blogs to spread the word about pelvic health.

There is such a mine field of information on the internet, some of it excellent but some of it not so excellent. It’s often hard to know who and what to believe.  I want to provide a reliable source of “conversations” about pelvic health topics that people can trust are up-to-date, current and as evidence based as possible.  I hope to put information down in an informal way that is easy to read, digest and understand.  Hopefully I shall dispel some commonly held myths along the way and my main aim is to EMPOWER.  Empower you to take control over your pelvic health, or empower you to support a loved one, or empower health professionals to join me in my journey to educate and break down the taboos.

I realise that, even in this day and age, people (women and men) just aren’t talking about their pelvic health enough. Even the most confident and outspoken of women will not honestly chat about their bladders, vaginas and bowels openly to others. This can lead to such a sense of isolation for those suffering with incontinence, prolapse, constipation, sexual dysfunction and all other things pelvic health.  It also leads to underreporting of, or long delays in reporting symptoms to health care professionals.  Ultimately leading to delays in treatment for conditions ranging from bowel cancer to prolapse to inflammatory bowel disease to urinary incontinence.

So let’s get chatting and start making a difference…

Such a sensitive subject but I was very happy with the service I received. Very reassuring and supportive
