Becky has extensive experience in this highly specialist area, working within this field for over 15 years. She graduated with BSc (HONS) Physiotherapy in 2003 and started working within women’s health permanently in 2005. She has since graduated with PGCert (Masters level) Women’s Health Physiotherapy in 2008. 

She has led the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team for Wirral Community NHS Foundation Trust, since 2009, whom provide NHS physiotherapy services for urogynaecology, bowel, chronic pelvic pain and obstetric patients. 

Becky gives 110% with each and every one of her patients, you can be guaranteed she will try her utmost to set you free of your pelvic health problems.  In order to do this, she regularly attends study days and courses to keep abreast of the current knowledge and treatment techniques, she works alongside and has many links with other pelvic health professionals.  Becky prides herself on approaching her work with empathy, sensitivity and respect.  All decisions around care are made with the patient, and she aims to empower every patient to feel they can take back control, giving them the confidence to work hard and to trust in her expertise.  

Teaching others is something Becky enjoys, she has experience of teaching nurses at a Postgraduate level for Chester University, and has delivered many teaching sessions to midwives, health visitors, physiotherapists and doctors.  She currently has an active role in peer reviewing articles for the POGP (Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) group.

She is registered with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the association of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP)

Outside of physiotherapy and her work, she is a mother to 3 children and has a personal understanding of what it’s like to juggle motherhood, work and health conditions. Becky enjoys an active outdoor family life, and is an avid runner.
